I’ve enjoyed every episode of this so far and find myself getting excited when I see that a new one has been released.
This is well-made but also feels raw and real. The way mental and physical health often is. It’s not always pretty but it needs to be talked about. And they make it relatable and even funny. Keep up the great work!
It means so much to hear people who share chronic illness. Especially the judgement from family and friends due to their ignorance. I relate to everything you talked about in misconceptions episode.
The Mighty podcast is true to its word, totally delivering on humor, positivity and vulnerability. The hosts and guests share very personal and relatable stories that make me feel like I'm not alone in my struggles. I also find I can learn so much from listening to experiences with other health conditions and journeys. I hope anyone working in healthcare listens to this podcast - it really builds so much empathy.
This podcast reflects all the wholesome energy while still retaining that no punches pulled approach that makes The Mighty so valuable. I love seeing that no matter the medium, this community is able to engage in hard conversation without losing hope and it’s zeal for life.
This is my first reply to The Mighty. I’ve read the articles and get the emails. And I’ve thought about contributing, but it’s taken this podcast to feel like I can start talking publicly about my PTSD. Thank you all for being you.
