This story will make you think you’re inside of a dream where you’re trying to scream but no one hears you. It’s infuriating, but extremely well done. Thanks Mel.
Such a great listen on the way to work, and amazing voice actors.
Mel Barrett puts in an incredible amount of research and thought to the cases she brings to light in this excellent podcast series. She adds her unique, personal experiences in telling these stories, which allows the listener to connect on a deeper more personal level. An advocate for survivors and victims, Mel is one the the freshest new voices in this genre.
Such a great podcast, and Mel Barrett is thoughtful, intelligent, and approaches her story telling with integrity and empathy.
Highly recommend!!
I discovered this podcast while host Mel was co-hosting the Readathon. A bit of a deeper dive reveals that she’s in with all of my favorite ladies of podcasting (Ellyn, Rebecca, and the ladies of Grab Bag). Love her take on these stories of women. Definitely plan on becoming a regular listener and look forward to more of Mel’s thoughtful investigations of cases we thought we knew. Also, Ruby’s snores make for great background noise.
