  • Trash spewing trash

    Update.

The more I hear you on other podcasts the more convinced I am that you are either the biggest grifter on the planet or the stupidest person on the planet. No one could be as consistently wrong as you are and not be one or the other. Either way, it’s giving The Viper Pit Podcast great content. You should give it a listen. 😉

You are a disgusting couple profiting off murderers. Being on Bob Ruff’s show even lost him listeners and he’s trash too. Hilarious that his listeners hate you too. ... more

  • Finding the New Episode is a Nightmare

Content is great! Finding the new content is a chore though— if I’ve stopped listening for a few weeks, I have to dig thru every season to find the latest episodes to catch up (even if I’m sorted by “newest”). It’s not a simple *filter by unplayed and scroll down five episodes* like other podcasts. Please address this :)

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Docket Ep. 315: Interview with Michael Chernus.
Q: How did you balance showing Gacy's manipulative side without making it feel cartoonish or over the top?
I struggled with this every day. We didn't want to do the mustache-twirly evil serial killer trope. It was crucial to show his humanity while also revealing his dark side, which was complicated by writing and character nuance.
The Docket Ep. 313: Buried: Q&A and Behind the Scenes of Ep.1
Q: Did you obtain the tapes when he was still alive? My husband was like, isn't this attorney-client privilege?
No, privilege survives death. Gacy had waived privilege, allowing access to the tapes.
The Docket Ep. 313: Buried: Q&A and Behind the Scenes of Ep.1
Q: Do you remember what episode, because there's something one of the things that I love about BURIED and about the Gacy Tapes was, it's your favorite time, it's my favorite time, which you obviously had not started doing yet because you didn't do it there, you usually do it when you start to talk about the law?
Yes, it was definitely me. I wanted to make the law and criminal justice system more accessible to people that aren't attorneys, for people that enjoy trial watching or enjoy watching documentaries and just love true crime.
The Docket ep. 311: Amanda Knox interview.
Q: Do you think women today are still stuck in that box of Madonna versus whore?
Amanda noted that while there has been some progress in how women are portrayed, targeting and devaluing women through attacks on their sexuality still persist.
The Docket ep. 311: Amanda Knox interview.
Q: What compelled you to write this book now?
Amanda expressed that she felt free after confronting her prosecutor, which led her to understand the journey of reclaiming freedom from trauma.
