- Fascinating topic, disorganized host
So many fascinating subjects in this podcast. Currently listening to that the episode on Jew in Persia and the return to Judea. Unfortunately, the host clearly has not developed a script and just add lives and wanders through different topics eventually getting back to the subject advertised. Also, the regular anti-Christian digs and brief weaving in of political topics is irritating and offensive. This is supposed to be a history podcast. I’ve listened to a lot of Jewish history podcasts recently, and this one stands out as the only one that didn’t put me to sleep. Unlike the navel-gazing typical of traditional, “authoritative” interpretations, our affable and hilarious host Yossi asks critical questions, and offers insights into the many absurdities and inconsistencies in the text to paint a more rich, coherent and accessible account of biblical stories.
