I had been thoroughly impressed by the podcast—until today. The interview with Jack Lew failed to ask a single challenging question; it functioned more like an advertisement than an interview. There were no audience questions either. If the hosts feel certain questions are uncomfortable or inappropriate to ask themselves, that is precisely when audience questions should be included.
Hearing from prominent Jews in news and culture is wonderful—but only if it a thorough and thought-provoking. Adv... more
One of the very best podcasts for the Jewish world. Absolutely brilliant guests, questions and conversations. Incredible.
A delightful and stimulating conversation about the most important issues facing the Jewish community and faith.
Sapir takes on some of the most challenging questions of our time, and not just those of concern to Jews. He brings deep reflection, creative thought, and new insights into each one. Bret Stephens is a superb host, editor and participant. This one of my favorite podcasts.
I come away from this podcast feeling thoughtful and open-hearted.

A thoughtful, issue-driven discussion series exploring Jewish life, identity, and public affairs in America and beyond. Episodes frequently feature prominent thinkers, politicians, and business leaders, tackling topics from antisemitism, Israel and U.S.–Israel relations, and Jewish philanthropy to contemporary ethics, conversion, and the role of tradition in modern society. The conversations are characterized by deep questioning, wide-ranging perspectives, and a willingness to bridge faith, culture, and policy. A notable strength is its ability to host influential voices across domains while aiming to make complex ideas accessible and personally resonant for listeners who care about Jewish life in a global context.
