Haviv has a rare gift for captivating audiences. His broad historical knowledge, remarkable storytelling ability, and nuanced way of presenting complex conflicts reveal a profound sense of balance
This is one of the most thoughtful, relevant, intelligent, and, I’d also add, essential podcasts I’ve come across. I come away from every episode having learned a great deal and I find myself constantly marveling at Haviv’s eloquence. It’s a truly beautiful show.
Hi haviv I really have been enjoying your new podcast and I have learned so much from your episodes on call me back. I also think it was great that you encouraged listeners on this most recent episode of your show to listen to audiobooks and walk at the same time. This is the best way to listen to podcasts nd a great way to stay healthy!! Leah spinner from cleveland
Haviv outdid himself with his lengthy interview and discussion with Aimen Dean. As a non- observant American Jew trying to make sense of the chaos of the Middle East the podcast provides a wealth of background and clarity on the causes and consequences of the past. Aimen Dean is revelation regarding the need for stable monarchies in the region and a pathway to a long term solution to the conflict. Thank you.
The episode on the hunger in Gaza is sober, informed, balanced and nuanced.
