  • Zionism…what is it exactly?

Thank you for your distilling of history… With all this anti-Israel anti-Semite rhetoric coming out of the woodwork from the most unexpected places these days it’s a serious question to me.

I was raised in a Christian family that absolutely loved the Bible and its incredible stories. My amazing father and mother had a personal great love for Jerusalem so I was raised with a great love for the Jew and the land of Israel.

I’ve been in a place of turmoil because I have friends who now are quite ho... more

  • Thank you!

This last episode covering the history and basics of Sunni/Shia, etc, and how it relates to the Iranian Axis of Resistance structure was a great idea and definitely needed! So informative, much appreciated.

  • Thank you for the nuance!

Noam and his team do an amazing job of digging into the complexities of Israeli history in a way that anyone can understand. I also appreciate their thoughtful, balanced approach to the content. If only more people sought out nuance when it comes to the difficult issues of today (and yesterday).

The Iran War Explained with Haviv Rettig Gur
Q: What is the core purpose behind this war according to theory one?
Haviv confirms it is unquestionably about Iran's nuclear program, but notes debates exist about how dominant that factor is relative to others.
Emergency Episode: Inside the Attack on Iran with Avi Melamed
Q: Why should the United States be involved in this war far from its borders, given past interventions?
Geopolitical interdependence and modern communication mean distances are less meaningful; Western involvement reflects broader security interests, regional stability, and the propagation of global ideologies, with public opinion and policy intersecting in dynamic ways.
Emergency Episode: Inside the Attack on Iran with Avi Melamed
Q: What is your opinion about Iranian public opinion? Are you able to put Iranian public opinion into different buckets?
Public opinion in Iran is diverse: many Iranians oppose the regime due to daily hardships, while others remain supportive or constrained by state narratives; overall, a sizable portion seeks relief from oppression, though political and social pressures shape how freely they can express dissent.
Intelligence Operations that Shaped Israel’s Story with Ronen Bergman, LIVE in LA
Q: What surprised you the most after reviewing classified documents and meeting thousands of intelligence operatives?
Bergman was surprised by the additional thought an Israeli intelligence officer carries: they are the final frontier, and their actions can have immediate and dire repercussions on Israel's security.
Intelligence Operations that Shaped Israel’s Story with Ronen Bergman, LIVE in LA
Q: How do you think about the ethical quandary of perhaps sharing stories that could put Israel in a precarious position?
