  • Always feel encouraged after listening

I enjoy listening to this podcast - the host has interesting guests and is good at engaging in conversation - it is like sitting down with friends to have a conversation - he is humble.

As someone who now listens to vinyl and is discovering more music over the past few years his questions at the end for the guests and how specific songs have influenced them has been insightful and helped me discover more songs and helping me expand my understanding of music .

Q: Can you walk us through the simple yes-no method to check in with spirit?
Cheryl details the CAR method: clear, ask, receive, emphasizing that yes/no questions are a good starting point to learn one's spiritual language, and that you should validate what you receive against your feelings and experience.

Q: How did you handle being outed as a medium, and what did that cost you before it set you free?
She recalls being unintentionally broadcast on Facebook by a tech-enabled colleague, which was uncomfortable in human terms but affirming in spiritual terms, marking a turning point that helped her own confidence in teaching mediumship.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 73 | Are Your Dreams Trying to Tell You Something? | Cheryl Bradley
Q: What's the difference between the gift you came in with and the one that awakened after your children grew up?
Cheryl explains that most born mediums have a unique path, often involving a second awakening or rebirth that clarifies how their gifts manifest, especially after stepping into major life roles like motherhood. She frames it as a shift from a private to a public practice, guided by spirit and life experience.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 75 | She Quit God. God Stayed. | Sunshine Witchski, The Sober Witch
Q: What did it take for things to reach rock bottom, and how did that moment change you?
Sunshine recounts the Costa Rica birthday trip where a deliberate choice to drink despite 63 days sober led to a profoundly painful breakup with her past self, ultimately driving her to seek recovery and begin real work through AA and therapy.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 72 | Motivation Dies on Day 3 — What You Do Next Changes Everything | Dre Baldwin
Q: What kept you going through multiple rejections in high school before you finally made it onto the court?
A combination of belief in self, the discipline to keep practicing, and the absence of a clear, easy alternative path; I kept showing up, experimenting, and leveraging everyday grind to build a resume that eventually opened doors.
