I enjoy listening to this podcast - the host has interesting guests and is good at engaging in conversation - it is like sitting down with friends to have a conversation - he is humble.

As someone who now listens to vinyl and is discovering more music over the past few years his questions at the end for the guests and how specific songs have influenced them has been insightful and helped me discover more songs and helping me expand my understanding of music .

DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 68 | The Hidden Science of Energy Healing with Dr. Lotte Valentin
Q: When you were practicing, how did you navigate licensing boundaries while integrating intuitive practices?
You have to stay within licensing rules; you can rely on lab tests and imaging if you hear a medical message, but you cannot perform procedures beyond what the license permits. This leads to collaboration with other practitioners and careful documentation.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 67 | From Atheist to Evidential Medium, Dr. Lotte Valentin's Incredible Story
Q: What is ancestral healing and how does it practically affect clients?
Ancestral healing involves recognizing and addressing unresolved patterns from previous generations, which can change nervous system responses, reduce stress and help rebuild connections with family members, often leading to miraculous shifts in relationships.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 67 | From Atheist to Evidential Medium, Dr. Lotte Valentin's Incredible Story
Q: How do you connect scientific concepts like epigenetics with the spiritual experiences you've had?
She explains that epigenetics acts like software running the genetic hardware, and ancestral traumas can alter gene expression; thus healing patterns can be transmitted across generations and corrected through ancestral healing.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 67 | From Atheist to Evidential Medium, Dr. Lotte Valentin's Incredible Story
Q: Could you describe what it felt like during your near-death experiences and how they changed your beliefs?
She described a literal out-of-body experience where time disappeared, followed by a profound sense of peace and unconditional love, which shattered her atheistic worldview and led to belief in a spiritual dimension and afterlife.
DTN Podcast | Jim Alstott Ep. 66 | The Illness That Changed Everything with Peter McLaughlin
Q: What moment flipped the switch toward mind-body-spirit healing for you?
A series of moments, including a therapist's mirror analogy that turned a black cloud into a reflection of inner state, plus a commitment to addressing body, mind, emotions, and spirit as interconnected forces.
