I like how much I'm learning by listening to this program. I've listened for a few years.
I’ve made it to day 91 and look forward to each new day. Such an amazing narration. He won’t put you to sleep. Fr Mike’s explanation at the end of the daily Bible readings are so easy to understand and you look forward to what is coming up next.
He describes Gods proscription of the treatment of slaves that slavery was merely an individual offering their body because that is all they had to offer however the Bible scripture clearly speaks of people buying slaves, having sex with the slaves wife, etc. Buying a person and taking their wife isn’t a person offering themselves willingly. It is slavery in its worst form. I love this series however unpalatable Scripture should not be sugar coated. It should be openly stated.
I lost my daughter this summer. The worst year I’ve ever had. This podcast helped get me to a place where I can have hope my daughter is safe in God’s arms. Thank you so much.
