Speakers are so knowledgeable and engaging – this podcast is a joy!
The things we keep in our minds are so important! And this one goes a long way towards making the world a better place.
I enjoy learning about the saints, both the well-known, and the rather obscure ones as well. It’s conversational and informal, which is a change from the usual podcast about saints.
In this morning’s episode (3/20/26), Dr. Klein needs to read the transcript to count how many times she says “like”. It’s annoying, and she should be aware of it.
Just can’t listen to the episodes with Mary McGeehan. Her manner of speaking suggests that she would be better serving in a different capacity.
As a non catholic but a believer in Christ, this podcast is eye opening! I have no idea why Protestants are not educated about the saints to the same degree as Catholics. I am so glad to have found this podcast.

Catholic Saints features in-depth conversations with scripture scholars from the Augustine Institute who explore the lives of recognized saints. Episodes center on historical context, martyrdom, doctrinal themes, and the spiritual lessons drawn from each saint's story, often linking Scripture and early Christian history with the saints' legacies. Listeners can expect accessible, compact discussions that emphasize faith, study, and practical devotion, with occasional critiques about pacing and production quality. A notable strength is the reliance on scholarly guests and a focus on the saints' real-world relevance for believers today, making it useful for catechesis, personal study, and church-based programming.
