I’ve been searching for a deeper understanding of what the Bible is saying and something to listen to while I’m walking or driving. I’m so thankful I found this podcast. I look forward to listening to it daily!
Prior to The Bible Recap, I had tried multiple times to read through the Bible but was unsuccessful. Tara Lee is a natural teacher, and I am on my second time going through the Bible. I read a chapter a day on average, and I am still learning. Thanks to the whole team for all you do to help people enjoy reading the Bible.
Great for all ages! My kids love it too! She makes it fun to read the Bible, even Numbers!
I had just finished reading the Bible in a year, but felt like I wanted to learn more… into the Bible recap. I cannot even tell you how excited I was from the very 1st episode, how much I was able to learn about what I was reading. The extra YouTube videos they post before starting new books is also extremely helpful.
So thankful for TLC and getting to listen to her insights each day of reading. I’ve been through the Bible with her a few times and I learn something new all the time. I love being part of a community that truly wants to know God better.

Devotional episodes center on a chronological Bible reading plan, with verse-by-verse context, cultural background, and practical application. A consistent host weaves narrative summaries of daily readings into themes like trust, leadership, repentance, and God's steadfast love, often tying Old Testament sections to New Testament connections. Notable strengths include accessible explanations, seamless cross-references, and calls to reading plans or start points for newcomers. The format tends to mix teachable commentary with personal reflection, making it helpful for listeners seeking structured spiritual growth or a reliable daily study routine.
