This podcast/reading plan is a great reminder to read the Bible daily (and a significant amount at a time for context!). This is the first time I have read this much of the Bible and the most I have understood. Thank you for helping me.
Such an amazing podcast! I do it every morning after reading the corresponding chapter in the Bible. This not only helps me understand the Bible more, but it ultimately helps me understand the God who made the universe and how much He loves me!!! Thank you Tara-Leigh for the hard work you’ve put into this podcast…it has really impacted my life!!! Definitely do this one!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is my 7th year doing The Bible Recap and I can’t imagine stopping! God is continually opening my eyes to something new, and I enjoy how Tara-Leigh breaks it down into language I can understand a little better. If you never thought you could read through the Bible, give this a try, I think you will be amazed at how easy it is to do.
Tara has really sounded forth the gospel of Jesus by founding the Bible Recap and Discipleship groups. Blessed is this child of God, showing us daily that He's where the joy is! 🙏💕

Devotional episodes center on a chronological Bible reading plan, with verse-by-verse context, cultural background, and practical application. A consistent host weaves narrative summaries of daily readings into themes like trust, leadership, repentance, and God's steadfast love, often tying Old Testament sections to New Testament connections. Notable strengths include accessible explanations, seamless cross-references, and calls to reading plans or start points for newcomers. The format tends to mix teachable commentary with personal reflection, making it helpful for listeners seeking structured spiritual growth or a reliable daily study routine.
