Hosted and narrated by John Stamos, The Grand Scheme: Snatching Sinatra is a complicated, nuanced story of one imperfect man trying to redeem himself by pulling off the perfect crime. Did you ever feel like everything’s broken, and it’s your job to fix it? That’s how Barry Keenan was feeling back in 1963. He was broke, unemployed, hooked on booze and pills, and his family was falling apart. Barry ... more

I really enjoyed this, it’s a fun pace, Stamos is a great narrator, and the story is wild. Would highly recommend.
Thoroughly enjoyed listening until chp 10, when Barry tells us he decided to get rich(er) from casinos and tells us how great casinos are, even somewhat pulling MS out of from poverty. This is not true. I lived in MS for 42 years (Jackson & Hattiesburg) and know that, in fact, only the rich got richer.

“For most true crime podcasts out there, I dare say the podcast itself is the biggest crime. But this one? This is the glorious exception. It’s on an entirely different level—narratively, creatively, and in terms of sheer storytelling perspective. It’s authentic, refreshing, and wildly inventive. The plot twists alone are worth the ride, but what truly sets it apart is the humor—dark, unexpected, and absolutely hilarious in hindsight.”
Great story told in a fun way!
One of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard—and I listen to a lot of them. The story is captivating, very well narrated, and beautifully produced. It’s a pleasure to listen to, and I was fully immersed in the story and atmosphere.
