I listened to your podcast for the first time today. I listened to the morning routine one and while listening I was getting excited that I found something that could help me. Every time I hear your shows I learn something and only in my first year. I wish I would’ve found you earlier though. I don’t feel so alone in this season of caregiving.
This episode is so inspiring and Cathy gives so many heartfelt wonderful tips and tricks to overcome feeling down when you are having a bad day. I am saving this one to listen to again!! Thank you Cathy for your wonderful episode!
Cathy provides a plethora of useful information, hacks, tips and tools that can apply across the many different caregiving scenarios that exist. But best of all, she provides this learning in a “come have a cup of coffee with me and let’s talk “ environment. With her very human approach, humor and first hand experience, Cathy gifts you with a weekly replenishment of resources to use as you navigate the never-ending tasks of caregiving.
What she talks about are not only valid, but such great affirmations that as a caregiver you need time to yourself! I made sure Dad was never alone, but had my time to de-stress with my part-time job. As the patient, I needed a break from my caregiver! And he gave it to me.
