  • Thank you for podcast 14 by the way.  It was so inspiring & it came at the perfect time!   I woke up in panic a few days ago, thinking I was crazy with my dream of wanting to start a glamping site. I had spoken about it with lots of passion to a few acquaintances and when I woke up the next day, I panicked..."what if I see them in a year and I didn't accomplish anything" type of thought ?‍♀️.  So again, thanks for sharing & getting our of your comfort zone which helps others do the same ❤?

78. Starting Small, Dreaming Big: How Coorie Retreats Built a Vibrant Glamping Brand
Q: What role does technology play in marketing and guest communication?
Marketing is integrated across platforms (WhatsApp, email, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) through a single Go High Level system, enabling personalized, timely communications and upsell opportunities while saving time and reducing repetitive workload.
78. Starting Small, Dreaming Big: How Coorie Retreats Built a Vibrant Glamping Brand
Q: How do you onboard staff to new tech and maintain operations remotely?
Staff are trained on Muse and the PMS system; training resources and YouTube/AI tools supplement onboarding. Automated check-ins and centralized communications via Go High Level keep operations efficient, with staff accessing calendars and cleans through the system.
78. Starting Small, Dreaming Big: How Coorie Retreats Built a Vibrant Glamping Brand
Q: First, tell us about the area and what draws guests to Port Patrick.
The area is an under-the-radar part of southwest Scotland with coastlines, walks, and stargazing opportunities; it remains relatively undiscovered, which adds to the allure of staying in distinctive units and exploring nearby towns like Stranraer and Port Patrick itself.
75. The 10-Year Shift That Can Change Your Business And Life
Q: So let's start there. Tell us a little bit about what you do and how you help people.
I'm Tricia Duffy, a strategy consultant who uses a long-term framework called In 10 Years Time to help people imagine their future self, then map practical steps in four key life categories—creativity and learning, career and finance, relationships and home, and health and fitness—so they can build a life they actually want, not just chase short-term goals.
76. The Low Season Advantage: Unlocking Hidden Profit and Purpose in Off-Peak Travel
Q: How should hosts find and target the right audience for low-season travel?
The strategy involves understanding why people choose the low season, focusing on cultural heritage and unique experiences, and mapping audiences by personas and the places they hang out (e.g., niche groups and social media communities).
