The show’s premise is interesting. The hosts have good chemistry and the picks for billionaires aren't always obvious which is nice.
A lot of the facts are well researched but there could be more detail about the nitty gritty so people can have a better understanding of the businesses that are run, the purpose of giving to charity in the US, etc.
Informative and interesting point of view to explore a range of human interest subjects such as culture, history, society, finance, psychology, and psychopathology(?). Looking forward to future podcasts.
Thoughts on billionaires in great works of fiction?
I’ve listened to most episodes and have generally enjoyed it. However the regular use of American English, especially on BBC productions really annoys and distracts.
Please tell the script writer that him/her should not be used as the subject of a sentence (ex: “Him and his son” … incorrect; “He and his son” … correct). Seems to come up at least once per episode. Otherwise, fun to listen to these stories. Good format. Affable hosts. Oh! And “The Waltons” was based on the life of Earl Hamner, who grew up in Virginia during The Depression.
The Sam Walton story incorrectly states that they bought Costco.
