I suppose it depends on who Joe speaks to and the subject at hand, but it feels like he’s not up to par intellectually with some of his guests. It sounds like he thinks he should talk regardless if he has anything to say. He’s not as cerebral or deep as he thinks he is.
Truly interesting guests. Joe does a phenomenal job selecting interesting guests, and I love the long form interview format of the show.
