I listen to this show for its keen insight and fact based narrative. Jessica bringing QAnon type data into this podcast today was a huge disappointment. She admitted it was QAnon type stuff, and if that’s the case, then why bring it in at all? Please don’t dumb down this podcast.

  • Resist and unsubscribe, ok

I’ve been a long-time listener for Scott’s unrivaled ability to dissect market dynamics and the ripple effects of policy on business. However, lately, the show feels more like a general political commentary pod than a business one. There are a thousand podcasts covering the left-right-center divide, but very few that provide the sharp, data-driven market analysis Prof G is known for. I’d love to see a return to business-first content rather than the 'resist and unsubscribe' rhetoric, which often... more

  • Going downhill

I enjoyed the pod for most of 2025, but the last few months have really seen a decline. 2026 predictions were embarrassingly bad. Still convinced ai is a bubble? Wake up- the market is speaking to you. Scott runs from one fad to the next….a clear sign of underlying insecurity. Count me out.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Scott on Losing His Dad, Family Traditions, and Handling Criticism
Q: Question number one comes from Manuel Rapada on Instagram. How are you doing seven months after your dad passed? Any advice for someone who just lost their dad?
The host explains that grief is deeply personal, emphasizes registering and naming emotions, and suggests giving oneself a timeline for processing grief, while acknowledging the complexity of losing a parent and finding a new sense of purpose.
Scott Responds to the Paternity Leave Backlash, Patriotism in America, and more
Q: What is your memory of working with Kara Swisher and how has that shaped your approach to balancing parenting and career?
Kara has been a thoughtful partner; her support and examples of balancing parenthood with work have taught me a lot about engagement as a parent and professional.
Scott Responds to the Paternity Leave Backlash, Patriotism in America, and more
Q: If you could go back in time and take a few weeks off when your sons were born, would you?
I would have considered taking more time, but I think the broader point is that parental leave should be accessible and flexible, and men should participate in bonding in ways that work for their families.
Scott Responds to the Paternity Leave Backlash, Patriotism in America, and more
Q: What happened essentially was, I ribbed him and said, dude, fathers are useless in the first few weeks. Get back to work.
I realize my comments were stupid and I regret saying them; my action since then has been to communicate that I support parental leave and that my earlier remarks were taken out of context.
Scott’s Early Career Advice, How Dating Apps Are Making You Lonelier, and Navigating Conflict With Business Partners
Q: I'm an upcoming college graduate. What would you do differently when you first started your career?
Find a place to learn and develop skills quickly, seek mentors, and focus on being in environments (like a strong platform) where you can be in the top 10% of your field within a few years, while building broad relationships and asking for help to accelerate your growth.
