Not sure what you have against those improving their health but seems biased. Some useful information that is true, mixed with some BS.

  • Wellness episode

Good episode. I used to respect Dr.Oz but now not so much. Years ago he discussed a wide variety of health issues, remedies, etc. on his show. Now I hear a lot of criticism of those episodes. What was the junk science highlighted on it? Has any been proven true? Specifics seem hard to come by. I’m not talking about his current pink gelatin GLP1 substitute. Thanks for any clarification.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How Architecture Can Solve Big Social Problems with Jeanne Gang
Q: Has Studio Gang cracked the code of New York and are we getting your best work?
The best work comes when we balance constraints with our architectural voice; New York's democratic review process can slow things but often leads to more thoughtful outcomes.
Life After Trump: Astead Herndon On What’s Next for American Politics
Q: How important are media formats (podcasts, short video, etc.) to how politicians communicate now?
Media formats matter greatly; politicians need to craft messages that work across 30-second clips and long-form conversations, ensuring authenticity and consistency across platforms to engage diverse audiences without losing core policy messages.
Life After Trump: Astead Herndon On What’s Next for American Politics
Q: What changes do you see in how Democrats position themselves on affordability and economics after Trump?
Democrats may push a more muscular, solutions-focused stance that emphasizes policy, practical governance, and addressing structural issues like inflation and energy prices, rather than simply attacking Trump, while also grappling with balancing progressive demands with broad voter concerns.
Life After Trump: Astead Herndon On What’s Next for American Politics
Q: Where do you see the post-Trump world heading in terms of the Republican bench and potential successors?
The likely successors face the challenge of maintaining a Trump coalition while expanding it with new faces who can govern and appeal to a broader electorate, with JD Vance seen as an example of a reform-minded but still Trump-influenced candidate, and others like potential figures emerging who can bridge traditional conservatism with outsider energy.
Beat the Resume Bots & Build a Career You Love with Jodi Kantor
Q: What is the book hoping to achieve for graduates?
To provide a durable, craft-focused alternative to the conventional chase of passion or money, and to guide graduates toward meaningful, impactful work.
