  • Good content

I listened to the episode with Jack Kruse and the episode was great. What really confuses me is why the picture looks like it an ad for porn. She's in a short dress with knee highs kneeling on the couch looking back. Very odd!

  • Intelligence and love work wonders

I think it’s a special combination of intelligence and love coming together that makes this podcast so impactful. Really good advice mixed with science and insightful musings. It’s the kind of podcast you listen to with a notebook in front of you and a pen in your hand so you can take notes. Very much recommend

How to recover from burnout with Michelle Grosser
Q: How can someone discern when to push themselves despite a fear response?
Listen to the body without obeying every signal; pause, assess physiology, and then decide from a grounded place. If there's racing heart or trembling, reframe as being safe while acknowledging the fear, titrate exposure gradually, and choose actions aligned with a calm, purpose-driven why.
How to recover from burnout with Michelle Grosser
Q: What are some practical tools someone can start using if they're noticing burnout symptoms?
Begin by slowing down to create safety in the body, practice pause before saying yes, do a quick body check to sense heaviness or lightness, and incorporate movement, breath, touch, temperature changes, and social connection to regulate the nervous system. Build a small toolbox of in-the-moment techniques and address root causes like trauma held in the body rather than relying solely on mindset.
Escaping Diet Culture with Maya Eid
Q: What can parents do to help mitigate eating disorders in their children?
Parents should work on their emotional regulation and maintain open lines of communication with their kids.
Escaping Diet Culture with Maya Eid
Q: Can someone be in a bigger body and be healthy?
Yes, individuals can be healthy regardless of body size by engaging in health-promoting behaviors.
Escaping Diet Culture with Maya Eid
Q: What's the difference between disordered eating and an eating disorder?
Eating disorders meet psychological criteria, while disordered eating refers to unhealthy eating behaviors without a formal diagnosis.
