A very timely, relevant, and important topic for healthcare providers and institutions. Thank you for presenting this episode.
The presentation of the history, findings of physical exam, lab results, and differential diagnoses were thorough and very informative. A few issues: 1) One of the doctors spoke about his “Latinex” families. That term is no longer used. The preferred terms: Hispanic or Latine. 2) Speakers should use medical terminology: “emesis” rather than “vomit” and “pruritus” than “itchiness.”
EXCELLENT presentation on the topic. Recently, DEI has been mocked and debased in the political arena. The doctor who spoke last described it perfectly-being kind and respectful. Thanks to the three presenters.
I’ve been a pediatrician for 30 years and I always get new practical information I can use with patients. I also love that it’s not just dry research presentations. The episodes are lively, engaging and I learn something. Thank you.
With so many great pediatricians and clinicians to interview on a medical podcast, it’s disappointing to see the creator turn to a politician for instruction.
