This podcast is great, I’ve always been interested in phobias. I have a lot myself lol. Arachnophobia is a big one, as well as submechanaphobia and fear of heights and falling out of the sky and an intense fear of death. This isn’t a phobia but I am deathly afraid of cutting off my blood supply. Anyone experience this lol? I need help. more
I love this podcast - horror and learning!! I have Genophobia and this podcast seriously helped me to understand what it really means and the best way to go forward... thank you!
I’m thrilled I stumbled upon a podcast that combines two of my favorite past times - reading the DSM and watching all things horror! The parallels of the hollywood horror and our own fears lends to a gripping and bingeable listen. The humorous banter is the cherry on top!
Love this podcast!! Clinical phobias broken down and then paired with horror movies. The hosts know their stuff and have a great husband/wife dynamic. They’ll have you laughing too! Great listen. Looking forward to more episodes. Oh wait... I’m one of the hosts so I might be biased. Eh, whatever. 😝
Kris and Drew are a dynamic duo just trying to help us figure out why we’re all so afraid of everything. With each phobia, they discuss the background, the psychology surrounding it and highlight horror movies that play on those fears to give us the heebeejeebies. (Spell check?) give ‘em a listen if you’re into cool movies, scary topics and metaphorical brain dissection.
