I haven’t seen this movie but have read the story. Just because a story is not a happy story but has significant messages, I don’t think it’s relevant to fault it because King wrote it when he was a teenager. The story is sad, morbid, and hopeless. That doesn’t mean if you don’t like the message, you should trash it. The story is trying to convey something and based on your summary seems like the movie conveys it well. I’m sorry you don’t like the plot. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie.
Together episode made my life!! Please have Joel do a recap again and again. I was hanging on his every word. I have never given a review but after this episode I could not love another day until I reviewed this. Please more Joel in the future! Robert in New Jersey

These three are lovely and seem like very sweet friends to one another. I do laugh every time they include a trigger warning given that everything described in these movies is hideously triggering.
