  • The long walk review

I haven’t seen this movie but have read the story. Just because a story is not a happy story but has significant messages, I don’t think it’s relevant to fault it because King wrote it when he was a teenager. The story is sad, morbid, and hopeless. That doesn’t mean if you don’t like the message, you should trash it. The story is trying to convey something and based on your summary seems like the movie conveys it well. I’m sorry you don’t like the plot. That doesn’t mean it’s a bad movie.

  • Very charming trio

EDIT to say Wes Larson is the most charming guest in the universe. More Wes, more Joel and more Betsy, please!

These three are lovely and seem like very sweet friends to one another. I do laugh every time they include a trigger warning given that everything described in these movies is hideously triggering. But that’s why we need it explained to us ever so tenderly! Also as a new mom, listening to Henley talk about her kids and about motherhood so candidly is a real blessing. I always look forw... more
