  • Ads ads ads

Girls get yo money, but listening recently has been an arduous chore to say the least. What used to be a cohesive and comfortable experience that felt like you were w/ friends has turned into a hellscape of ads. Reaction to trailers were put behind a paywall (audio version used to be baked in). And their Patreon doesn't even offer ad-free listening to their episodes? more

  • Never in my life did I think I would enjoy this…

But oh my gosh, was I wrong! I’m a scaredy cat, but find myself reading through the wiki of horror releases. I can’t believe that there is a podcast made just for me! I adore these women. As I’m in the middle of binging every episode, I now consider them my absolute best friends. I did listen to every episode with Joel first and he has restored my hope in the goodness of men. I have SO many episodes left and I am already feeling SO brave. Thank you ladies (and Joel)!

  • Good show if you’re not a paying subscriber

$10 a month just to listen to ads anyway. They should upload ad free episodes to patreon, how is that not obvious to them. $10 a month just to watch trailers, a video episode maybe twice a year. Yes it’s a “recap” podcast but the enjoyment comes from the reactions…which we don’t see. Just do video episodes and make your Patreon worth it. $10 a month to hear “I dont know” “i don’t really remember what happens at this part”…watch it again then, do your job for the people giving you money. I know i... more

  • Listened to a full episode thinking this was the Bechdal Cast podcast.

I just drank a bunch of whiskey and thought I was listening to the bechdal cast podcast with Jamie Loftus and Caitlin Durante and got curious why they had multiple guests and Caitlin seemed quiet. This was the Donnie Darko episode if that matters.
