I don’t always listen to this show but CR being a guest made me want to leave five stars and a review. CR is the king. CR!!!
One of my weekly must listen to podcasts. Even on movies I’ve seen a million times I’ve learned new details and perspectives.
Paul. Do you just listen to The Big Picture and just steal? So many episode you copy the exact stories from their podcast
Made it 32 mins into the Dead Poets Society episode before Paul Scheer’s racist, anti-white rhetoric became too much. Unchallenged by his co-host, this pair is a time-capsule of 2010 weak-minded, woke-yolk dressed up as critique. Save yourself the eye rolls and follow What Went Wrong instead. At least the anti-white rhetoric is dialled back to 2 on that show and the research is miles ahead of this dim-witted duo.
I like Paul and Amy. They are good hosts and have a great rapport with each other. They often have insightful discussions and a good balance of humor.
However, the podcasts are a little short and the time frame doesn’t allow for a proper review of a movie. The incessant ads that take up a third of the podcast don’t help. I realize they need ads but it gets annoying.
God help me for saying this, but at least Joe Rogan puts all his ads at the beginning of the podcast so there aren’t constant ... more
