  • Long time listener

The scrappy crew always puts a smile on my face with their reviews and listened to them for years. So many episodes I re-listened to and find new things. Cheers to you guys here’s to several more years of amazing movie reviews and critiques.

  • You know. The biggest letdown of the movie was the performance and the switch up with the surfer. And all the glazing seems so disengenuinous. There is literally nothing to praise. It's a non performance and changing the surfers story is terrible. It's one of the most tragic and beloved stories in all of the marvel universe and I love this show. Been listening for 14 years and every time there's something like this it's predictable. Like you guys get paid to give these phony takes. Disappointing... more

  • Guys, Research The Movie

I enjoyed this podcast to begin with, but it’s turned into a lot of other movie podcasts who just try and put out too much content, which involves them reviewing stuff they know nothing about.

Complaining about things in movies that are explained clearly in the plot or if you just do a bit or research into why that thing happened just shows a lack of commitment to the movie you’re reviewing and just infuriates the listener (me).

It also seems to have become the thing to do to make yourselves l... more

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Fatal Frame
Q: So, do you recommend Fatal Frame?
Fatal Frame is a mid movie, but it is an awful Fatal Frame movie.
The Conjuring: Last Rites
Q: Do you recommend The Conjuring: Last Rites?
While it's tedious and doesn't offer much scares, it's a send-off for the characters we've followed, so it gets a mild recommend.
Thunderbolts*
Q: What do we think of the character Bob?
Bob's character represents the themes of mental health and community within the group.
Thunderbolts*
Q: Is this going to be a new Avengers team?
The film hints at that potential while exploring the complexities of the characters.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Q: So we are back with Sonic 3. Did not see this as a holiday movie.
When they announced that this was coming out so close to Christmas, I'm like, this feels more like a spring summer franchise.
