Jeez these 2 have a problem with EVERY movie!! They are just negative about everything! I've listened to a bunch but they just wear me down with all this gloomy, critical, pessimisstic attitude about every movie!! Talk about nitpicking. This isn't a movie review podcast it's a "let's just complain about everything" podcast. Pass.

  • Opinions are like…

In all fairness, my one star rating is a reflection of the one episode I listened to, so I recognize it is rather unfair to judge the entire series. With that said…

Throughout the episode on The Untouchables, the hosts incorrectly (and continually) refer to the film as a “biopic”. It was never that. The ‘80’s were a time when it was quite in vogue to make movies out of old television shows. DePalma was tasked with reviving the spirit of “The Untouchables” (1959-63) starring Robert Stack and tha... more

As a longtime fan of his and a new listener here I checked out the Airheads episode and it was good but hard to hear Brendan Fraser called Brandon throughout the episode .

  • Yikes

I listened to the Muriel’s Wedding episode. Apparently it’s fine and normal when men use women for sex but shallow and pathetic for a woman to be excited about their wedding day.

    Get bent, dude.

  • Awesome podcast

Been binging this podcast and I love it. They’re pretty spot on with their committee ratings of 80s and 90s movies, revisiting them to see if they hold up. Gene could be a little less woke, everything is “white males bad” and “that’s racist”, but he’s got a great radio voice and he and Big D are/were complete degenerates, which I can relate to.
