  • Great Pod just confused

Great content. Really do enjoy the guys chemistry and how much they remind me of old friends. My issue is with the almost complaining about the time you spend having to watch movies and do research for the pod. Can it really be that hard to watch a movie a few times and take some notes?

  • Amazing show

Great Podcast. Throughly enjoy the banter between the hosts. I’m starting late and trying to play catchup. I listen to at least one episode each day at work and they always transport me back to a simpler time. Working at a video store growing up, all the nostalgia comes flying back. Absolutely LOVE this show!

  • Worth the Stay

I was brought here like many by seeing a random clip on Facebook Reels - please know this is worth staying for. I’ve been listening through back episodes on my commutes to work and between the laughs/knowledge drops it’s made my drive so much more tolerable - I’m sure it can do the same for you. A little disappointed in the lack of ET and Labyrinth but I’m sure we’ll get there. Thanks for content guys!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

BRUNCH: Dumb and Dumber with KFCbarstool
Q: As we really dive into this, who is the dumber one, Lloyd or Harry, and why does that dynamic work so well?
They agree Lloyd (Jim Carrey) often comes off as the more outrageous, but both characters' chemistry and timing carry the film, with moments where Harry's reactions actually reveal surprising cleverness.
Interviewing Ernie Reyes Jr (Surf Ninjas, TMNT 2: Secret of the Ooze)
Q: What inspired you to push for a vision that blended martial arts with hip hop and video games?
I wanted to create action films that felt authentic and true to my teenage world—martial arts, skate culture, gaming, and music. That unapologetic combination became Surf Ninjas and shaped my future projects, including pursuing ownership and creative control.
BRUNCH: Movies From Sundance Film Festival 2026
Q: How do the host's experiences vary when watching the films at Sundance in person versus online?
While in-person viewing allows for a more immersive experience, they still enjoyed the online accessibility and the opportunity for Q&As after screenings.

Q: What is the significance of the Sundance Film Festival this year?
It was notable for various reasons including the legacy of founder Robert Redford, the transition of the festival location, and the number of exciting independent films showcased.
10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
