Just found this podcast on Apple and love it! Going through older episodes now and really enjoying them.
Per your review of the 2011 The Thing prequel, the creature did take on various forms prior to escaping the ship. When it froze in the block of ice, it was in the form of a giant bug. When it killed the first guy, it started to imitate people to blend in and not be discovered. So it showed intelligence.

The deeper voiced one constantly talking down and correcting the other host is exhausting to listen to. It’s not a two way conversation, it’s one person pontificating and the other saying “Um yeah” again and again.
Childish, overly reductive, simplistic, and narrow-minded. Just skip this and find another podcast with hosts who can formulate arguments that go deeper than “it’s bad because I don’t get it.”
I love their 80’s were weird movies. Listening to younger horror fans enjoying older movies is insightful.
5 stars. Revising my review bc I love these two girls opinions. I fanboy over everything so maybe it’s on me getting butthurt if they rip on movie lol. Love y’all. Keep it up!
