In Episode 60 of Sprogcast, Rebecca Brione explains the Holding It All Together research carried out last year by Birthrights and Birth Companions. Karen also chats with the Secret Midwife about her revelatory book.

We're calling this episode 'Homo in the birth room,' and we're very pleased to have an interview with the great Michel Odent (unfortunately on a rather patchy line). Karen is down with a cold, but Mark is upbeat enough for both of them.

  • Packed Full of Juicy Topics

Love this (and love the name) podcast. Being a birth nerd myself this is a real treasure trove of subject matter and information. I will work my way through and probably play some again and again! Mark and Karen have, between them, a huge wealth of knowledge and bring a warm friendship and some banter to what could otherwise be some quite challenging subject matter. Thanks guys! Im a fan!

I’m an aspiring student midwife and these podcasts are giving me so much information and bringing up topics I wouldn’t have even thought about before! Hoping listening to these along with more research will have me fully prepared for my interviews in the next few months.
