「北里大初スタートアップが、"⽔道配管レス"HHD用装置開発の目指す」
このニュースについては、特に腎内科医療に携わる医師、臨床工学技士さんの間で注目されています。
私は非医療者ではありますが、全国でも数少ないHHD患者の1人。
現在HHD患者として毎日の透析生活を経る中で感じること等を踏まえ当該ニュースの何が画期的なのか、
患者目線での率直な感想(※多少のツッコミも)などを語ってみました。

「在宅血液透析並びに腎移植に関し、それを経験した患者目線のLIVE感ある情報」
を発信することを目的とした当ブログですが、今回は"Coffee Break"。
先に行われた東京オリンピック、男子4×100mリレー決勝の日本チームのバトンパスについて、
経験者としての立場から僭越ながら言及させて頂きました。
「走る」といった、一見単純な行為ほど、言語化が難しい…。

今回は、在宅血液透析患者の私が、2度目の新型コロナワクチン接種後の「副反応」の経過報告を致します。
接種数時間後から発熱、丸一日39℃近くの高熱が続き、非常にシンドイ思いをしました。
これで、COVID-19と闘う最低限の"武器"は備えることができたのでしょうが
「ワクチン打ったから、大丈夫」ではなく引き続き、当たり前のことを、当たり前にする、これに尽きますね。

"高熱発症"により自分の身体がキツイのは当然のこととして、それに加え昨今の"パンデミック下での高熱発症"となると、患者を診る多くの医療者の方々に大変な"作業負荷"を強いらせてしまう。いつもお世話になっている主治医と臨床工学技士さんの、あの「防護服」姿を目の当たりにしたことで、現在、全国各地、いや、世界各地の所謂"コロナ病棟"に従事する医療者の壮絶なる激務の一端を、垣間見た気がいたしました。

2021年6月3日、在宅血液透析「2000回」達成！！
要した年数「7年＋9カ月＋28日」。
色々ありました…この軌跡を"数字"で、振り返ります。
「2000回」は一つの通過点。
この先、献腎移植の機会が訪れない限り、今の血液透析生活は続くわけです、死ぬまで…
2021年6月4日㈮には粛々と「2001回目」の血液透析を在宅で施行するだけです。
