Just a comment on the NYC rental brokerage fee conversation from the Senne episode. It should be understood that typically in NYC, the broker doing the rental deal has historically worked for the owner, not the renter. Especially in the lower end of the market where renters are not hiring their own agent and listings are found online. This negates the consumer protection argument.
