She's brilliant, well-researched with a great bedside manor.... but she is a little feisty and will "tell it like it is". Growing tired of seeing complications in pregnancy that could have been prevented, she wanted a way to help women empower themselves through knowledge so they can advocate for themselves. She is also a tremendous and kind individual whom I trust, respect, and admire immensely. A must listen for anyone!! Sometimes you just need to hear the truth, challenging or not straight from the source. Very refreshing to hear the facts and even personal experiences from the voice of Dr. Plenty and guests because sometimes it’s hard to decide if your medical providers are giving you information in your best interest when they are not of color. Very helpful and enlightening.
Dr Plenty’s drops plenty of fact-based knowledge. If you want to avoid the truth, facts and knowledge…don’t listen.

I like the focus on race but black women already have a lot of concerns. They should be informed but not scared into trusting a doctor 100% when the black maternal death rate and cesarean rates are already too high. Black women should have conf... more
