  • Supplements

I loved listening to this podcast. Even though I’ve been using Haylie’s supplements for a long time it was a great refresher course. If you’re just starting out I highly recommend the metabolism multi (no better product out there) and the enzyme balance.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Why Chronic Illness Needs a Different Kind of Healthcare
Q: What is the general philosophy behind treating complex chronic conditions in a way that isn't siloed by specialty?
The hosts emphasize acting as expert generalists who look at the whole patient, coordinating multiple modalities, and using biomarkers and patient values to guide interventions.
Why Autoimmunity Is on the Rise with Dr. Aristo Vojdani
Q: Can detoxification influence ANA titers, and how should patients think about detox in this context?
Detoxification can lower toxin load and reduce immune activation, which may translate into reduced ANA titers in some individuals when part of a comprehensive, individualized plan.
Why Autoimmunity Is on the Rise with Dr. Aristo Vojdani
Q: What is the value of advanced labs like lymphocyte mapping and tissue antigen panels for autoimmunity?
Advanced labs help identify early immune dysregulation before overt disease, guide personalized interventions, and reveal tissue-specific immune responses that can inform dietary, toxin-reduction, and therapeutic strategies.
Why Autoimmunity Is on the Rise with Dr. Aristo Vojdani
Q: How does someone know what zone they're in and what tests should be run?
Zone determination relies on a combination of antibody titers and clinical symptoms, with tests including ANA, ENA, dsDNA, RF, mitochondrial antibodies, total immune complexes, and a newer lymphocyte map to assess cellular immunity.
Episode 137: Immune Health: Why Our Environment Matters
Q: What can people do when exposures are suspected to be impacting health?
Approach includes environmental testing where appropriate, personal detox strategies through nutrition and supplements, improving sleep and lifestyle factors, and minimizing sources of exposure in daily life, with an emphasis on personalized plans.
