  • Feeling Repetitive

I like her podcast but the last few months it’s been only about her pregnancy. I understand she is excited but it’s just getting a little boring to listen to and I find myself skipping her episodes now. I appreciate all the information for pregnancy but it’d be nice to hear about other topics too.

  • Favorite Podcast

Realfoodology has become my new favorite health and wellness podcast! Courtney does a great job delivering meaningful information without the clickbait or fear-mongering some other podcasts seem to have. She takes a very calm and relatable approach. I am also pregnant so I have loved listening to her talk about her pregnancy and being able to relate to her symptoms so I don’t feel so alone.

My Pregnancy Update + Answering Your Toughest Questions
Q: What's on your birth playlist, and who's on it?
A mix of emo nostalgia (Blink-182, Layne 8, Pierce the Veil) and calming classical piano, with a goal of creating a hypnotic, relaxed state for labor and a separate vibe for moments of intensity.
Why So Many Women End Up With C-Sections: Birth Interventions Explained | Dr. Stuart Fischbein
Q: What is a true emergency in labor according to Dr. Stu?
True emergencies include placenta previa, fetal distress not caused by interventions, prolapsed cord, placental abruption, and certain fetal anomalies; most other interventions are avoidable with careful monitoring and natural labor.
The Truth About Folic Acid: MTHFR, Prenatals & What to Take Instead | Dr. Ben Lynch
Q: What is your methylation status and how does that affect your baby in utero?
Methylation status is key; homocysteine levels are a practical proxy—elevated homocysteine suggests a less-optimized methylation process, and testing can guide whether folinic acid or methylfolate is more appropriate.
Ask Me Anything: My Pregnancy, Fertility & What I Actually Do Daily | Drake Peterson
Q: What are your thoughts on Chemo and cancer treatments?
She emphasizes a case-by-case approach, sharing a perspective that some cancers may benefit from conventional chemo, and discusses exploring integrative options and broader treatment centers internationally.
Ask Me Anything: My Pregnancy, Fertility & What I Actually Do Daily | Drake Peterson
Q: Which non-plastic espresso options exist?
There are high-end options but they can be very expensive; she opts for metal stovetop devices and makes cold brew at home as a practical alternative.
