I love the format of this podcast—talking with each author about a passion before hearing about the book. I’m always so curious about the humanity behind storytellers and Adam gets them to open up as “people” before he interviews the “writer.” He is engaging and kind and curious. I love how much freedom he allows in the conversation— it feels authentic and open and real. Definitely a favorite!
Adam is a kind and caring conversationalist. His warm approach to the authors, and the way it helps them open up, make every conversation sound like one between old friends (especially when he talks to someone he's not already friends with!). This podcast has become one of the things that excites me about Wednesdays.
Adding to my review! I’ve listened in every week and each episode is as enjoyable as the last. Whether you’re a fan of the authors or you’ve never heard of them, each discussion is so fascinating! more
I used to listen to Adam on his other podcast and I’m so delighted he’s back at it. This podcast brings me genuine joy every week and I catch myself smiling without even realizing it. You can just hear how happy the guests are to have the opportunity to share and talk about their passions outside of writing. It’s a good reminder to us all that what we do doesn’t make up the entirety of who we are, and you can be passionate about a lot of things, no matter how weird!
Here because I love books and along for the journey because it’s so delightful. Listening to authors talk about what they love is just joyful! The format is effortless and I will be a lifelong listener. I haven’t always been familiar with the author or the passion but I have enjoyed every minute of this podcast!
