  • Great stories good host

I’ve enjoyed the true crime stories. They don’t have the detail that some others do, but our entertaining nonetheless. I also liked that the host stands up for women who are often the victims of these crimes.

  • Enough personal commentary

Could be a good podcast but Mary Kay feels the need to inject her personal opinions into every episode. Even when I agree with her (rare) I still don’t listen to this kind of podcast for her side notes. I’ll find someone who sticks to content.

  • The women who went off the grid

The intro was off-putting. And yes the host really does want to say that she loves her child the most. A dangerous and unhealthy attitude

  • The vocal fry 😬

I am listening to Criminal Crematorium, but the vocal fry is just over the top and unlistenable.

    Pass.
