A very very good podcast.
I try to walk my dog daily, although both she and I do not seem to mind if we miss a day in between. I have started listening to Poetry Unbound on our circuitous walks around the neighbourhood. My dog is older now and needs less direction, and I enjoy the company of a voice. There is something rather lovely about being outside, the changing scape of small community and listening to poetry. Loving this podcast
This feels so relevant the day before the change of leadership here and how our political leaders have become a mouthpiece that is showing us the total lack of any real thing our constitution has been written to convey something that no longer exists
I was really touched with the Inheritance poem. And then transfixed as its meaning is unwrapped.
I love this podcast SO much & Padraig’s gentle, insightful way of opening a poem to an array of ways to see & feel the poet’s meaning. There’s no single way to interpret a poem & Padraig is wonderful at reminding us of this.
