  • Fun in school

I stumbled across your podcast while looking for interesting content for the forensic accounting class I teach, and I’ve been hooked. The students love your work too. One of their assignments is to listen to a few fraud podcasts-yours is hands down a favorite. And bonus…CPE for me! Keep up the great work. (I do miss Greg and wish him the best.)

  • Funny and informative

I'm amazed at the ingenuity and complete lack of morals of the characters in these stories. After listening to nearly the entire catalog, I’m a bit more cynical and less trusting in a good way. You'll learn a lot and be entertained. Easiest CPE ever!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Meet the Fraud Victim-Turned-Vigilante
Q: Do you think going to a journalist makes sense for people if law enforcement is unable or unwilling to help?
Absolutely. That helped my case. Publicity hampers their ability to scam.
Meet the Prosecutor-turned-Professor: Miriam Baer of Brooklyn Law
Q: Can you tell us what drives the decisions around whether to prosecute certain individuals or corporations?
It's largely dependent on whether the prosecution meets two thresholds: the legal threshold of liability and the practical threshold of viability which includes the nature of the evidence and ability to prove intent and harm.
Meet the Podcaster Who Spills the Corporate Tea
Q: How did you decide to start a podcast?
I started doing TikToks on Enron and realized how much I love talking about corporate scandals.
Meet the Fraudster Who Stole Millions from Alanis Morissette
Q: When did your addictions start?
My addictions didn't start until about 2010, after a six-year run of success in my career.
Meet the Fraudster Who Stole Millions from Alanis Morissette
Q: Where did you grow up?
I grew up in the Catskills in upstate New York, in a beautiful place that was a great tourist attraction.
