  • Excited for what is to come!

This podcast is so needed! The first episode is an interesting and insightful discussion into serious mental illness and recovery. It’s refreshing to hear Ian talk so openly about his experience and share his story. Beth and Tom ask interesting questions and they get the perfect balance of listening to Ian’s narrative while also bringing their own thoughts.

Great debut and I’m excited to listen to future episodes!

  • Eye opening

A fascinating insight into the ‘other side’ of mental health treatment and a brilliantly honest discussion about mental health. We need more of this to break the stigma!

  • Notes on Madness

I found this podcast fascinating. I think what had most impact on me was Ian saying he was glad that he had had the journey because he liked where he had arrived. As Beth pointed out at the end, you rarely hear the positive outcome of such horrible and terrifying experiences. To know that you can repair yourself, however painful it may be, is so encouraging to hear, because what is also clear from Ian’s story is that any of us could slip from stress to madness given the right triggers.
