Reviews

4.4 out of 5 stars from 36 ratings
  • a very uneven podcast

Sometimes excellent, if the interviewer lets the guest talk or if he knows something about the guest’s topic. When the host just reads from a pre-fab list of questions no matter what the guest answers, then it’s a weak episode.

Elisabeth Åsbrink, "1947: Where Now Begins" (Other Press, 2019)
Q: What insights are presented in this study regarding fascism after World War II?

Elisabeth Åsbrink, "1947: Where Now Begins" (Other Press, 2019)
Q: What does your book's title mean? Can you explain it?
The title reflects the notion that the end of WWII in 1945 did not eradicate fascism or antisemitism, which continued to evolve in 1947 and shaped modern ideologies.
