Awesome story thank you for that! My mum was in ICU for a week before she died and the music we played was her playlist. It made it much more tolerable and sitting with her playing her music was healing for all of us together ♥️
What a gem this podcast is. A diverse range of topics discussed respectfully plus regular episodes with The Secret Psychiatrist provide an insightful angle from within the Mental Health profession. Listen for learning, humour and empowerment.
What astonishing podcasts. I have been diagnosed with Cyclothymia and couldn’t find much information. The secret psychiatrist and dialectical behaviour podcasts are so helpful and calming. I can’t thank you enough. Keep up this essential work.
I love the Mental Health Book Club podcast. It is friendly and heart warming to listen to, Sydney’s approach to guests and the atmosphere that she creates on the podcast is a real treat. I love resources like this that share such useful information on mental health which is a topic close to my heart, and I was lucky enough to come on the podcast for an episode this year! Great work!
Very informative. I’m just beginning to explore a new diagnosis of Borderline with my therapist and this was helpful to learn more about it.
My one complaint though is that you repeat the full name “borderline personality disorder” sooooo many times throughout the episode that it actually activated the anger associated with BPD that I have. The humor of this isn’t lost on me. But holy cow. Try to be mindful of stuff like that. Other than that you’re great.
