  • Over talking

Clive try’s to hard to be funny, too much over talking and interrupting. Great guests and presenters just let it breathe.

  • Would be 10star but never updated

Come on BBC. This is a must-listen. Have to use iPlayer every week as delivery is so shoddy. Sort it out. You don’t do the programme team justice.

  • An occasional dream

Mmmm. For all the promotional spiel Clive gives the podcast on the show, it is totally crap the way that episodes aren’t uploaded. The last one was 2 weeks ago. This is the BBC for you. Inconsistent to say the least. Amateurish.

Q: Did you audition all the bands you knew for collaboration?
No, it came about accidentally through a mutual friend who recognized his fandom.
Joanna Lumley; James Graham; Esther Walker; Bret McKenzie; Nxdia; Clive Anderson
Q: So is writing a novel very different from all those other types of writing you've done?
Yes, totally. It took long because I'd intended to write features for newspapers and thought only novels could be spontaneous outpourings of feelings without realizing there were rules to follow.
