    It is always a delight to listen to a show that is politeness itself. Contestants are knowledgeable and kind to each other; Russel Davies is a model of moderation and old world charm. This is the BBC of my youth! Long may it continue!

  • Call that music?

    I completely agree with the other reviewer. The programme is brilliant. It is the only BBC radio programme that I ALWAYS make sure to hear. Entertaining and mind stretching in an age of dumbing down.

    I do miss the last presenter (sorry, can’t remember his name) but Kirsty Lang does seem to be fitting in well though her marking can be a bit random. It must be difficult to listen, provide good clues but only when needed and also keep a mental note of how much help you have given and therefore how ... more
