Healing Trauma using CPT with guest Heather Chase
Q: Who would be a good candidate for CPT and then who are clients that wouldn't be a great candidate?
Good candidates for CPT are those who meet PTSD criteria and demonstrate symptoms, including self-blame for traumatic events. Those unsure of their trauma or unable to participate actively in assignments may struggle.
Healing Trauma using CPT with guest Heather Chase
Q: What do you have to do, Heather, right? What do you do to prepare yourself to be able to hear and to share that space with the clients as a CPT therapist?
As a CPT therapist, I focus on the symptoms and not get pulled into the story, keeping a smaller caseload to manage emotional labor and preventing burnout through structured evidence-based treatment.
Exploring EMDR and LGBTQ with Lisa Martin
Q: Can you guys remind us of the upcoming trainings that you do have coming up?
Yes, we have a grief and loss targets training coming up on April 19th, which will be live.
Kajabi Content Management system with Arvind Srinivasan
Q: What are the three critical things that therapists need to build their presence?
Therapists need to establish a unique brand presence, provide immediate value to potential clients, and nurture client relationships to build trust.
Kajabi Content Management system with Arvind Srinivasan
Q: What makes Kajabi a good fit for a therapist?
Kajabi helps therapists solve the problem of connecting with their community and provides a platform to engage with clients effectively.
