Sally describes a recurring childhood dream of being pulled through a dark tunnel toward a bright, calming light. She felt fear at first, but then the light and purple energy representing love surrounded her, offering a sense of safety and oneness that became a lifelong compass. She also recalls the practical moment when the hospital surgeon drew an elephant on yellow paper and told her to hang it over her bed as a way to be witnessed, which stopped the screaming.
