The pod is good but it would be nice to keep things at least somewhat factual - since 2018 the statutory compulsory retirement age for the majority of the civil and public service is 70. In my experience there is little or no pressure on anyone to ‘go early’. On the contrary, experienced sensible colleagues are highly valued.
