I’ve never heard a bad episode. It’s so well done, thoroughly researched and super great host. The content is delivered with a lot of respect to the victims. Highly recommend!!
If you are looking for a podcast that is just looking to actually help victims of murder this is it. These are all unsolved cases. So many heartbreaking stories. The host gets right to the point and never sensationalizes these crimes. No exploitation. Just facts with the hope that someone out there listening may have information to help solve one of these cases. No chit chat, no opinions, no politics 🩷
Good content, well researched. However, the amount of time given to commercial breaks exceeds the actual content (many commercials are repeated during the same breaks). As a lifelong Texan I am very familiar and interested in the stories.

I’ve listened forever and one of the best and longest running podcasts I follow. Excellent!

Episodes commonly center on the victims, investigative hurdles, and the community impact, often weaving in forensic advances and courtroom dynamics. A notable strength is a calm, detailed storytelling style that tends to honor victims while tracing long-running mysteries; however, listener feedback frequently voices concerns about advertising load and, in some episodes, the use of an AI-style narration. The show appears to appeal to true crime enthusiasts who want deep dives into Texan cases, with a strong sense of regional history and justice-system context that sets it apart from broad... more
