Love your podcast- have been a listener for a while now. Also wanted to say it was YOUR ad/promo for Spotify for Podcasters that have me that final push I needed to do it myself! Keep up the good work!
I think the content is very good so I will listen occasionally but I agree with the others that the speaking cadence sounds unnatural and is choppy and it really becomes distracting. Listeners have been giving the same feedback for a year now and the host hasn’t made any improvement yet. Just speak naturally .
Another podcaster whose delivery is annoyingly singsong. The content is eclipsed by the amateurish reading of the script. Another sixth-grade book report.
I really wanted to like this podcast. The stories sound well researched and written (I tried starting a couple of them). The cadence and inflection is just…wrong. It makes it sooo difficult to stay engaged and interested. The sound of the host’s voice is pleasant enough, it’s just the actual delivery that is unbearable. Maybe time with a “coach” of some kind would make this a podcast not to miss!
Can’t tell you enough how much I hate the ‘outro’ they use on every episode: “Stay safe and hug your loved ones” because she says it like she’s trying to copy the My Favorite Murder podcasts outro where they say: “Stay safe & don’t get murdered”. Superrrrr annoys me every time she says it.
