Finally a writer is talking about WHY. Why did the prosecutors in Oakland County Michigan avoid making arrests in the Oakland County Child Murder cases? Because the killer was part of an enormously prominent Big Three executive. So what, you may ask? Well, the main prosecutor in the OCCK case wanted to become a judge, a senator, a president. And he needed huge campaign contributions, one source of which was the dad of the killer. Thank you, Nina, for this very significant interview.
… To enjoy this podcast. Stories are interesting. I’ve never heard 95% of them before. They are narrated with compassion for the victims and respect for all the characters. This is my new favorite podcast!
The podcaster doesn’t realise the use of the word quote is used in the wrong context, used far too often, and spoils the documentary. Can’t listen to this.
I still love the pod, but HATE the updated intro…. noise
Thank you for covering so many unheard cases with such compassion.

This podcast focuses on lesser-known true crime stories, providing in-depth explorations of cases that might not have received significant media attention. The storytelling often emphasizes the human elements of crime—shedding light on the victims, their families, and the broader societal implications of the events. By focusing predominantly on cases from the Great Lakes region and surrounding areas, it adds a distinctive flavor and identifies systemic issues such as domestic violence, community trauma, and law enforcement challenges. This unique angle allows listeners to engage with the narrative beyond just the crime, reflecting on justice, accountability, and the impact of these stories on communities.
