The Book of Mormon is a fascinating work of literature, teeming with stories of prophets, kings, and warriors on the pre-Columbian American continent. Is it a holy writ of ancient history and Christian theology, or did it come from a more recent source. On this podcast, we aim to find out if there are books out there similar to the Book of Mormon that were produced prior to 1830 when the Book of M... more

Wait, isekai into being around nephites? We already have that. It’s called the tennis shoes series, by Chris heimerdinger. I mean they don’t die, and they come back, but still. I have read the first two books in that series, they are dumb but weirdly well written.(they even have a spin-off movie adaptation)

This podcast has really helped me learn more about why that is a good thing. I have been learning bits and pieces about the history and culture of the LDS church through my dad (BRYCE YOU MADE HIM DO GENERAL CONFERENCE WITH YOU), but the deep dives and lengthy episodes that Bryce and Shannon produce have... more
For me, I still love Bryce and his knowledge. I find the woman’s voice and the accent she uses in her voices distracting to the subject. I keep trying and see if I’m not being to dismissive too early.
I am a Never-Mo, but I have started listening to this show as a follow-up to Naked Mormonism and My Book of Mormon. It is the perfect complement to those shows to help understand what is going on with the Mormon church today. We’ll done, guys!
If you're looking for a podcast where the hosts actively and loudly complain about what they are going to review on the show, but still make 5 hour episodes over the span of a year covering the same thing, this podcast is for you! Yes, the episodes are that long, longer if they are talking about General Conference.
A positive is that Bryce and Shannon jive really well together. On the less positive side, Bryce is often vapid and boring with not much to contribute outside of a random history se... more
