I'm not LDS, but I find them absolutely fascinating. This is such a great podcast for anyone who loves American history and religious history. The storytelling is funny and genial, but also rigorously fact-checked. Lindsay and Bryan, the hosts, are really pleasant to the ears. And speaking of aural joy, they have such good music in the background.
As a Taylor Swift fan obsessed with Mormon history, I feel like this podcast was made for me :)
Binged every episode over the last three weeks. Love the research you’ve done and the jokes included.
I was on a run when you said to stop what you’re doing and Google a pic of Hosea Stout. I was laughing out loud at the squirrel strangler himself.
stay for the sarcasm. Don’t sleep on the music/sound design. Enjoy learning the history you were never taught before.
